Suicide and Survival in LGBT Communities: Local Research

On Wednesday 24th January 2007, The University of Brighton, in partnership with MindOut and Allsorts,
will be presenting results of qualitative research on Suicide and Survival in LGBT Communities.

This will take place at:
The Friends Meeting House
Ship Street
Brighton BN1 1AF

Wednesday 24th January 2007, 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Come and discuss:
• how best to support suicidal individuals
• how to develop local services
• what needs to be included in an LGBT Suicide Prevention Strategy
• what needs to be included in the PCT’s Suicide Prevention Strategy

All are welcome and refreshments will be provided

On Wednesday 7th February, there will also be a candle-light vigil at the MindOut remembrance tree to remember all the LGBT people, or their friends and family, who have been lost to suicide. This will take place at 6pm.
