We Need to Talk
25 May 2007

We need to talk is a national campaign being organised by National Mind, Rethink, The Mental Health Foundation, The Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health and Young Minds.

The campaign is aimed at improving access to psychological therapy on the NHS.

It is recognised that psychological therapies are effective for a wide range of mental health conditions and are recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

However, they are often difficult to access on the NHS. Waiting times of more than a year are more than common.

For more information about the campaign and how you can get involved through signing a petition please go to: www.weneedtotalk.org.uk
