Crawley and Horsham Mind Services We offer the following services in Crawley and Horsham:
Advocacy – an advocacy service is provided for adults aged 18-65 who need someone to listen to them and support them in accessing services, challenging decisions, making complaints, and generally making sure their voice is heard. Advice and Information - we offer information on mental health services/issues our main number Monday-Thursday 12pm to 4pm and via email. Learning Initiatives – a programme of classes encouraging self-confidence and providing a stepping stone for a return to learning or employment. Mentoring Scheme – A new mentoring scheme developed from our previous befriending scheme provides achievement-focussed help for those recovering from mental health problems. Patients’ Council – a regular forum for inpatients to express their views and concerns about their environment and NHS services. Self-Help Groups – we help to support local groups providing mutual support for those with depression and other forms of mental distress. Volunteering Opportunities – volunteers can assist us with office work, train to be a Mentor, train to work with the Patients’ Council, or help with fundraising events.
