East Brighton Mental Health Project Service User

The East Brighton Mental Health Project works in partnership with a team of development workers based in East Brighton. This team addresses different aspects of health, raise awareness in the general population around mental health issues and reduce stress and isolation in the area.

The project works to address the health issues identified by local residents by working in partnership with residents and local service providers to develop innovative and sustainable ways to improve mental health.

Examples of the projects work includes:
mental health promotion work
mental health awareness and training
events and activities i.e. Mental Health Roadshows
support for residents in developing activities and groups
advice and information on mental health issues for residents and workers

Service Opening Hours
The East Brighton Mental Health Project operates 9am-5pm four days a week
Regular one to one advice and information sessions around mental health concerns are held:
monthly at The Whitehawk Inn on the last Thursday of the month between 1pm and 3pm. Drop in or appointments.
weekly at East Brighton CMHC on Wednesdays between 1pm and 2.30pm. Drop in or appointments.
