Community HIV Specialist Service

The Community HIV Specialist Service is for adults living with HIV. The service offers specialist HIV and MH nursing including home visits and health checks, as well as information, access and referrals to support workers. They also work with other professionals such as specialist HIV pharmacy, psychology, psychiatry, and dietician services, and with other agencies including voluntary bodies.

This service covers Brighton, Hove and West Sussex

How to get referred

Generally patients are referred via GPs, specialist HIV clinics, or by other medical or social care professionals. They also accept self-referrals from patients, except where a mental health issue is involved.
