New Webpage ‘Social Spaces’ – wellbeing drop ins and social spaces that people can access in the city

We’ve been working on a new section on our website that has been developed to highlight and inform local people about the many wellbeing drop ins and social spaces that people can access in the city.

It follows a consultation by Minds LiVE Project last year to help pull together a list of spaces people have found helpful in supporting them to look after their mental health and wellbeing – places where they can go, chat with others and just ’be’.

Interactive map

The basis of the page uses an interactive map, where you can identify the social spaces closest to you, view their opening times and the key information about the space/service.

We’re hoping to build on this work in the near future, and could be grateful for any feedback  you can provide, or any services/spaces that you feel should be included on the map.

We are looking for ideas for other social spaces that are inclusive and provide a welcoming and wellbeing focus.
To suggest an entry for our interactive map / pdf. list, please tell us about the social space, how it can be used, and who can use it by following the link below. We will get back to you with any questions.
Please note that this page is being developed to promote social spaces rather than a list of support services which are listed elsewhere in our directory.  Many thanks
