Connecting in Nature – Winter Series

We are pleased to announce we will be starting our Winter series of 6 Connecting in Nature sessions in partnership with Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and South Downs National Park on 16th November. They will be running on Monday afternoons, 1-3pm at Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and allow participants a safe and therapeutic space to connect with others and nature. You are welcome to book on to as many or few of the sessions as you like.

Social distancing and COVID-19 government guidelines will be in place to ensure safety and minimise risk to both facilitators and participants. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like more information about this and we will be happy to have a chat.

World Mental Health Day Saturday 10th October 2020

Saturday 10 October is World Mental Health Day.

This year the occasion is being used around the world to raise the profile of mental health. More than ever we need to look after our mental health and the mental health of people around us. For many people their mental health has deteriorated during the pandemic, some people will have become unwell for the first time during the pandemic.

The Information and Tips sheets that we have been producing since April have got lots of information about things you can do to look after you wellbeing – check them out and share them with your colleagues, friends and families.

We are encouraging people in the run up to World Mental Health Day to do one thing to improve their mental health or the mental health of people around them.

We’d love to hear what you have done or are planning to do and you can post your mental health goals on our virtual pledge wall which will be live from 5 October. For more details see the WMDH page at: www.mindcharity.co.uk/wmhd

The WEA will support you to achieve your fitness goals. Join others returning to exercise and build up your activity levels in a safe, fun and friendly environment and from the comfort of your home.
