This Time To Talk Day we are inviting you to come and make your pledge in order to help spark conversations around mental health.
Too often, people who experience a mental health problem are also expected to take the lead on talking about mental health in the wider sense. Mental health problems affect one in four of us yet people are still afraid to talk about it.This year will see Mind in Brighton & Hove return to the Jubilee Library in Brighton for a week-long event to help promote discussions in order to break down stereotypes, improve relationships, aid recovery and take the stigma out of something that affects us all.
To do this we are asking you to join us at the library for a spin of our ‘Conversation Starter Wheel’ which will provide you with a small task to help start you talking about mental health. The wheel will be located in the foyer of Jubilee Library from Monday 29th January – Friday 2nd February.how to make your pledge
On the day itself (Thursday 1st February) Mind in Brighton & Hove will be at the library from 10.00am to help promote positive conversations around mental health with members of the public.
