From 14-21 June is Men’s Health Week and this year the theme is mental health.
The Mind report, Get it off your chest : Men’s Mental Health Ten Years On reported signs that men are talking more about their mental health. But we know that more needs to be done to encourage men to open up and address the stigma that some men feel about talking about their mental health.
Look out for us on Twitter @MindBrighton where will we will be promoting small actions that can help us all look after our mental health.
We will also be talking to men about their mental health at a stall in Hastings on 16 June (see our flyer for further details) where we will also be promoting our new men’s mental health project. As well as talking to men about how they look after their mental health, we will be handing out information about how to look after your mental health.
Further information about this exciting new project can be found here
