Deputy Chief Executive Officer

28 to 35 hours per week

Salary £46,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Mind in Brighton and Hove empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove and across Sussex.  Established in 1971, we are affiliated to but independent from the national charity Mind.  We have revenue of circa £1.8m and employee over 50 staff.

We are seeking to appoint a new Deputy CEO. Reporting to the CEO you will part of the senior management team, working with the CEO on the strategic and operational development of Mind in Brighton and Hove.  The post is responsible for the leadership and development of Service Managers and the delivery and development of the organisation’s services.

The role will also have responsibility for ensuring that there are effective financial and human resource systems and processes in place and for managing key partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the next phase of development of Mind in Brighton and Hove as we approach our 50th year.

The successful applicant will have strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and maintain partnerships. You will understand the specific needs of people with mental health issues and share Mind in Brighton and Hove’s values.
