Wellbeing Community Team

We provide a range of advice and information and work and learning support as part of the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service.

Our Advice services include:

Work and Learning

Our Work and Learning Co-ordinator provides a range of support, advice and information to help people manage their work and learning needs. The service supports people currently working or who are off sick from work who may want help to manage their health issues in the workplace. We also support people who are interested in starting work or who want to identify opportunities for volunteer, or undertaking taking up learning or skills based activities. The aim of this service is to link people to the most relevant and helpful organisations to help them resolve their difficulties and move forward with a work and learning plan of action.

Community Resources ( Advice Service)

Our Community Resource Co-ordinator provides advice and information and assistance to enable people to access advice, information and support around practical and social aspects of their lives. These might include housing, accommodation, money, income, debt, health and social care or how to access legal advice. The co-ordinator can also provide information on local community services, support or leisure groups and activities.  The coordinator will initially make telephone contact and can supply information over the telephone, by email or written letter or through face to face appointments. We may also be able to arrange 1 to 1 support to access or contact services.
