City College of Brighton and Hove – Learning Mentor Team

Part of the Student Support Service the free Counselling Service is open to all full and part-time students at the City College of Brighton and Hove (and wider Brighton Metropolitan College). Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore personal and emotional issues about any aspect of your life. These issues do not have to be related to college. The service describes itself as being staffed by professionally qualified and accredited counsellors who work to the BACP Code of Practice.

Following assessment you are likely to be offered between 6 and 12 counselling sessions which would usually take place once a week. Longer term counselling may be available in some cases.
