Mental Health Awareness Week 12th - 18th May 2025
This year the theme of Mental Health Week 'community' with a focus on celebrating the power and importance of community.
‘Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone. This year in MIBH we are delighted to partner with the National Trust for their Walk with us in East Sussex for Mental Health Awareness Week on 14th of May. National Trust and Mind in Brighton and Hove staff will be present to guide the walk, talk about wellbeing, and provide information and resources. The walk to open to anyone so book a place by calling the National Trust Monks House office on 01273 474760 or email monkshouse@nationaltrust.org.uk. Building on our recent successful collaboration the Mental Health Advice Service workers and volunteers will also be joining with the Mind Shop on London Road to create a window display on the theme of community and wellbeing during the week. Our team will be there on Monday and Wednesday so come along and join us and say ‘hello’ and add to the display.
We will also be giving away free mental health resources and booklets
National Mind are also continuing their campaign ‘make sure no mind gets left behind’
Mental health is more than just a small part of our lives. It’s connected to every little thing we do, every place we go and every person around us.
