East Sussex County Council are holding a meeting on Sunday 21st September 2025 at 2.00 - 4.00pm in Lewes for anyone who has been bereaved of a loved one by suicide at Beachy Head.

Brighton & Hove will join cities across the globe in marking International Overdose Awareness Day on 31 August, a day to remember those lost to overdose, acknowledge the grief of families and friends, and raise awareness of harm reduction interventions that can save lives.

What is World Suicide Prevention Day?

Every year on 10 September, organisations and communities come together to raise awareness about how we can work together to create a world where fewer people die by suicide. The theme for 2024 – 2026 remains Changing the Narrative.
