Carers Week 9th –15th June 2025
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring and recognise unpaid carers contributions to families and communities across Brighton and Hove. The week runs from Mon 9th –15th June 2025.
We are delighted that on Wednesday 11th June 10.00am - 4.00pm we will part of the Carers Festival in celebration of unpaid carers in Brighton & Hove at The Open Market on London Road for the day.
Carers Week this year has the theme of "Caring about Equality" and we will be joining other organisations from across the city to tell carers about the support we can offer. As well as information and advice, the event will provide wellbeing activities for carers to try out. There will also be free refreshments for carers.

Staff and volunteers from our Mental Health Advice Service will be present to give advice and answer any questions. We will also be giving away free mental health resources and booklets. Last year over 20% of callers to our advice service identified as carers and were seeking mental health support either for the person they cared for or for their own wellbeing.
