OCD Awareness Week 11th – 17th October 2026

‍OCD Awareness Week 2026 is a UK-focused campaign dedicated to raising awareness, correcting misconceptions, and promoting effective treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). For more information on the campaign go to www.ocduk.org/ocd/introduction-to-ocd/

‍Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a serious anxiety-related condition that affects 1.2% of the population, which is around three quarters of a million people here in the UK based on current estimates. Together with their families, who support people with OCD, and are frequently involved in their rituals, this means Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder is a part of daily life for over 1 million people every single day.

National Mind provides information about understanding OCD, how it can affect you and where to get support and treatment. There is also a section for family and friends.  You can also find videos and blogs sharing people’s experiences of living in the condition and what they have found helpful.
