Time To Talk Day - 01/02/24

What is Time to Talk Day?

Time to Talk Day 2024 will take place 1 February 2024

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives. The more conversations we have, the better life is for everyone. Talking about mental health isn’t always easy and sometimes it’s even harder to say how you really feel. But a conversation has the power to change lives.

Time to Talk Day is the perfect opportunity to start a conversation about mental health. It’s run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness and is being delivered in partnership with Co-op for the third year running.

At Mind in Brighton and Hove our services will be busy.

In Brighton and Hove our Mental Health Advice Team will be at Sussex University raising awareness with staff and  students.

In East Sussex the Wellbeing in East Sussex Project will be at East Sussex Colleges in Hastings, Lewes, and Eastbourne across the week, providing wellbeing resources to staff and students.

Our Men in Mind project will be delivering an awareness raising event on men’s mental health at manufacturing company Mitchell and Cooper this week. We will also be promoting men’s mental health this Time to Talk day at leisure centres and industrial estates across Hailsham and Eastbourne.

If you would like more information about the day go to www.timetotalkday.co.uk . If you would like to speak to someone about your mental health or for someone you are worried about please call our Mental Health Advice Service on 01273 666950 or email info@mindcharity.co.uk.
