World Bipolar Awareness Day March 30th
What is World Bipolar Day?
World Bipolar Day takes place every year on 30 March. It marks the birthday of Vincent van Gogh, who was thought to have had bipolar. It’s a global moment to shine a light on a condition that affects millions of people, yet is still widely misunderstood.
The aim of World Bipolar Day is to help everyone understand what bipolar disorder is (and what it isn’t) and to help end the stigma that many people continue to face.
Every year, Bipolar UK celebrates World Bipolar Day by running events and activities online and across the country. This year Bipolar UK is offering a series of three free, live webinars. Each session has a clear focus, features lived experience speakers and expert voices.
The sessions are free to anyone who lives with bipolar, supports someone who does, or works in a clinical or policy setting. You can choose one or register for all three:
· Bipolar in the UK: policy and practice
· Supporting someone with bipolar
· The future of bipolar care: emerging research
