We offer the following:
Mental Health Awareness
Usually offered as a One Day Course, our Mental Health Awareness Training provides a general introduction to mental health and wellbeing, with an emphasis on how to recognise the signs of mental distress, how to communicate with and support people who are experiencing emotional distress and understand it’s impact. The course also provides valuable information about diagnoses, treatments and available local services. (max 15 participants)
Managing Mental Health in the Workplace (for managers)
This one day course, considers the importance of Mental Health to individuals and to business, provides tools to help managers understand mental health issues and improve communication in order to better support employees at work and to manage absence. The course encourages employers to create a mentally health workplace in order to promote wellbeing for all staff. (max 15 participants)
Coping with Stress at Work (for employees)
This course is designed to help employees better manage their own stress and build resilience. We examine the impact of stress in the workplace and look at ways to reduce stress by improving communication and encouraging disclosure. As well as giving employees simple tools to help look after themselves at work, we also consider the rights and responsibilities of employees and their employer. (max 15 participants)
The Five Ways to Wellbeing
This fun interactive bitesize workshop explores the Five Ways to Wellbeing, encouraging us to Connect, Be Active, Take notice, Keep Learning and Give. The Five Ways to Wellbeing were developed by nef (the new economics foundation) from evidence from the UK Governments Foresight Project on Mental Capital and Wellbeing. (max 20 participants)
